Halloween is just around the corner. So what will be the top adult costume for Halloween this year? Just dress like a beach bum carrying a extra-large sized bottle of tequila. No need for a mask, they are not that kinky, but you will need to stock up on the orange spray-on tan-in-a-can.

This has also been a great year for vampires. The popular TV shows and films such as ‘True Blood’ and ‘Twilight’ are keeping fake fangs in demand. Zombies are always in fashion, and this year Halloween marks the start of a new cable-TV series on AMC, ‘The Walking Dead’. Based on the graphic novels by Robert Kirkman, the series follows a group of humans in a post-apocalyptic world infested with flesh-eating zombies.

Other characters who have made the transition from comic books to TV and films remain popular. This year, you can not only go out dressed as Superman, but as a costume superhero/journalist. The costume is split in half, showing the duo identities of the powerful superhero on the right and on the left, the mild-mannered reporter.

Batman, Batgirl and Wonder Woman remain popular adult costumes for Halloween. So too for Cat Woman and the Black Widow for the more daring ladies.
