US Navy Commander Jeffrey D. Gordon has filed a second sexual harassment complaint against the Miami Herald’s Carol Rosenberg. His suit alleges Ms. Rosenberg used insulting and humiliating comments of a very explicit sexual nature against Guantanamo and Andrew Air Force Base officials. In all seriousness, if you are offended by sexual innuendo, do not read further. What’s alleged to have come out of Carol Rosenberg’s mouth is disgusting, even to this old, well seasoned Navy brat. IF the allegations against her are proven to be true, then in my opinion, a ’sexual harassment complaint’ is long over due.

In a July 22, 2009 letter to Miami Herald Senior VP and Executive Editor Anders Gyllenhaal, Cmdr. Jeffrey D.Gordon calls for a “thorough investigation” to put an end to Carol Rosenberg’s “appalling behavior” which allegedly included comments about the his sexual orientation. He references her “abusive and degrading, comments of an explicitly sexual nature.”

Cmdr. Gordon wrote:

To me, in front of another journalist with reference to why 9/11 co-defendant Mustafa Al Hawsawi was seated on a pillow in court:

“Have you ever had a red hot poker shoved up your a**? Have you ever had a broomstick shoved up your a**? Have you ever had anything in your a**? How would you know how it feels if it never happened to you? Admit it, you liked it? No wonder why you like to stay in South Beach on your Miami visits.”

Rosenberg, to CNN’s Jamie McIntyre in front of roughly 15 journalists in the Guantanamo Commission’s press center:

To Jamie – “Aren’t you in the BOQ (Bachelor Officers Quarters)? I didn’t think you were in tent city because these people (military public affairs escorts) are so far up your ass that I figured you must be in the BOQ.”

To Me [Gordon] – “Why isn’t he in the BOQ? You’re kissing his ass so much that I can’t believe that you’re letting him stay with the rest of us. Do you love him?”

Gordon also serves as Pentagon Spokesman for Western Hemisphere and Guantanamo issues He believes Rosenberg bullies other reporters, including some from the Washington Post, Fox, CNN, the New York Times and Al Jazeera, to name a few. He also claims Rosenberg has labeled her peers in the press as well as his colleagues “bitches,” “stupid,” “lazy,” “incompetent,” “Nazis,” and “Saddam Hussein-like.”

If the other allegations are true, it stands to reason that these might be too. But that will be for a jury to decide.

There is absolutely no reason for Carol Rosenberg to talk this way, if it is true. What would she be trying to prove …. that she’s one of the ‘good ol’ boys? She could take a lesson or two from the military she so harshly condemns (there is a pattern) and learn some manners. You don’t viciously attack and intentionally humiliate someone because you don’t like their answers. Maybe, just maybe, your questions were none of your business. Ms. Rosenberg needs to learn that not everyone bows before a mighty mouthed broad.

I find the behavior described in the complaint appalling, crude, disgusting and uncivilized, and am quite delighted that Jeffrey Gordon filed this ’sexual harassment complaint’. Do not doubt for a nano second that had a man said these things, he would be brought up on charges, convicted and forced to register as a sex offender. I hope, if these allegations are true, that Carol Rosenberg’s out of control feminism affords her the same treatment. In my opinion, Carol Rosenberg has the ethics and integrity of a drunken pissant on a Saturday night.
