For three weeks in October of 2002 he terrorized a nation; now seven years later, John Allen Muhammad, the DC sniper will die by lethal injection. The DC sniper’s execution date is November 10th in Virginia for the murder of Dean Myers who was killed while innocently pumping gas in Manassas, Virginia.
Covering Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, the DC sniper struck terror into the hearts of millions as John Allen Muhammad and his young accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo were responsible for the death of 10 individuals. The two terrorists were also suspected of murders in Louisiana and Alabama.
Now the DC sniper’s execution date is set, and he has but days left on this earth to make peace with his maker. Refusing to choose between lethal injection and death by electrocution, state law requires that John Allen Muhammad will die by lethal injection.
Family members of victims will come from all over the country to witness the DC sniper’s execution. John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo are responsible for death and heartache all over the nation.
I remember those weeks when the DC sniper was on the loose; many thought that it had some sort of connection to the terrorist attacks of 9/11; happening on and around the one year anniversary. The two individuals who are now paying for those crimes were feeding off of the fears of a still grieving Nation.
The DC sniper’s execution by lethal injection will come not a day too soon for the victims of their carnage. Lee Boyd Malvo is serving a life sentence in prison and will never see the light of another day. John Allen Muhammad, the DC sniper mastermind only has a few more days left to see.

I am looking forward to the day that he is executed.
Unlike the wingnuts that fight to end the Death Penalty, I have a different view.
While those who oppose the Death Penalty state that they would “rather see 100 murderers spared than to execute one innocent man”, I look deeper than that.
There have already been over 700,000 innocent people killed in this country since 1960 at the hands of private individuals, otherwise known as ‘murderers’.
Those people that would “rather see 100 murderers set free than to execute one innocent man’ are infact, watching hundreds of thousands of innocoent people killed because they don’t have the common sense to execute those that murder.
John Allen Muhammad is a prime example of someone that society has no valid reason to keep alive. I hope that come ‘Veterens Day’, he will join those that he executed in oblivion.

state sponsored murder is wrong. turn the condemned over to the family, and let them decide justice. if they choose to spare the person, they go to prison. if they choose to kill them, let it be done. but to waste money on executions which take forever and costs billions, is stupid and immoral. our court system is good and just so it is going to protect people. so, stop wasting money trying to concoct a state run death machine. it is immoral and wasteful. let the family enact justice.

I hope he burns in hell for eternity. Scum like this should die painfully ……lethal injection is too kind. I agree that the families should be able to deal with murders. If someone harms my child or any loved one of mine….I will forfeit my life to torture the person responsible. I would torture them as long as possible before they would finally die. I will not leave it to the state to use lethal injection. I am sickened by the liberal bleeding hearts that want to protect the cancerous murders.
